End of Book 1
Greetings and salutations. We've reached the end of the first book (and prequel) for Virtual Vagabonds. I never expected it to grow this much because I didn't really promote it until this year, 2025. The reason being is because I just wrote as a parody to start. I was inspired by The Wayans family and their brand of parody films.
There was just way too much Isekai going on. For those of you who don't know, it's basically the main character getting transported to another world. It's super popular in anime such as Log Horizon or Sword Art Online, for the older folks like me, .hack//Sign. But there's also films like the new Jumanji series. As far as books, Ready Player One comes to mind. There is so much of it. I thought I'd take a crack at it, because why not? There's a lot of jokes in there about video games, anime and film that I don't expect everyone to get. They were just to make me laugh. I'm sorry, I was writing for myself.
I was pleasantly surprised. There's been nearly 25,000 page reads for this series. Now, for the sake of honesty, the later chapters typically get around 300 reads. I'm taking that as 300 books sold, even if they're free. But you can give me money if you want to. Early chapters obviously have more readers, and I took that really long break that killed a lot of interest. Not just in Virtual Vagabonds but my other web novels Intercosmic and Exsanguinate as well. That's my fault, I have to live with the consequences of my actions. I was overworking myself which is why I switched to a biweekly schedule.
So what's next? I've written some character bios for the next few drops and on March 6, 2025 hopefully I've got an idea for a sequel or at least a spinoff to fill time until I can plot out a sequel. There will for sure be more because I had fun with it. For me as a writer, as long as I'm having fun with it, it'll keep going. That's why Light Seekers is probably never getting a sequel no matter how many people buy it.

However, for now, until March 6, 2025 (because I'll have SOMETHING), thank you for reading. Especially those who have read through to this point. I take nothing for granted, and I am eternally grateful for those who have read something like 65,000 words. Thank you, so much.
